The AS ROMA SERIE A TEAM TRAINS AT THE TRIGORIA SPORTS CENTRE. Trigoria has 07 football fields (one of them with fans area called "Testaccio" remembering the historical stadium) with 20 hectares of land; Trigoria has 04 buildings connected and a small artificial river. The main building has three floors and contains 26 rooms, in the first floor there are the offices of the youth teams; in the second floor the AS Roma management meeting room including all their trophies; in the third floor the President and secretary offices. The second building it’s reserved only for players, including the medical centre, the physiotherapy and rehabilitation department, the gym, a Turkish bath and players, coach dressing rooms and staff rooms. IN THE 83 YEARS OF AS ROMA'S HISTORY has participated in all the Serie A competitions (less the year 1951-52), AS Roma has won 3 times the “Serie A Scudetto” 9 times the “Coppa Italia” (same as Juventus FC) and two times the Italian Super Cup. AS Roma has finished for eleven times in “Second Place” the Serie A tournament and 05 times in third place. The actual coach is the AIAC member Claudio Ranieri, he has started his coaching carrier in the inter-regional category as coach of “Vigor Lamezia” in 1986, after takes the “Campania Puteolana” going to the C1 series. As professional he did a great job with Cagliari in 1989 winning the “Coppa Italia” of Serie C and going, in only two years, with Cagliari from C to the Serie A tournament. In 1991-2 has coached Napoli and then Fiorentina, Valencia, Atletico Madrid in Spain, Chelsea in England, Parma and Juventus before starts in AS Roma |
